Inquiry Learning Term 3

This term during Inquiry we have been learning about different eras in time throughout New Zealand.

We got to choose between learning about the 1910s or the 1930s. I decided to chose the 1930's

because i wanted to be able to learn about the Napier earthquake and fashion designers. In the first few weeks we needed to make something to present to the rest of the class with our buddies. We had the choice to choose from a poster, an iMovie, or a model. We chose a model. We were only supposed to be in a group of 3 but there was one person left over so she came into our group. We could have two Room 3 and one Room 6 or two Room 6 and one Room 3. We accidentally had three Room 6 and one Room 3 kid.  Next we got to pick which category we wanted to present about. Our group picked fashion. Then once we had done our posters we had to present and talk about our poster. Our poster was about some fashion designers in the 1930's such as Elsa Schiaparelli and Coco Chanel. We presented our posters and now we were ready to start to get on to our performance.  Our teacher picked a song and a dance for us to learn. The song we sang was a song about earthquakes. The dance we learnt was the Charleston.
