Cross Country Warm Ups

M.Term 3 was very different from the other terms that have passed so far. We still did workshops but we started practicing and warming up for our cross country this year on Wednesday the 2nd of September 2015. As we came out of the classroom we were lined up. We needed to make sure that we had something to drink before we sat down or had our drink bottles with us ready if we needed a drink. The seniors went first at 10am and the juniors raced next at 12:30 which was morning tea time for the seniors. These are some of the stretches that we did to warm ourselves up so we were ready to run.

This is a good stretch to do to warm up your Achilles' tendon.
This is a stretch to help your arms stretch and warm up better.

Another stretch is to stretch and warm up your hamstring. The hamstring is used a lot when people are running.
This is a picture of the muscles in the human body.
