We were learning to identify and check our bikes and helmets to make sure they are safe to use. We also learnt to ride our bikes in a sensible way.
Our next learning steps shall be to do this at home with our mums and dads often to make sure our equipment is always up to safety standards.
I had heaps of great fun at the iWay session. Our bike teachers were called Gilly and Tres.
First we started with a helmet and bike check to make sure our bikes and helmets were safe to ride around on. When we knew which bikes were safe to ride, we did scootering on our bikes. We did straight lines as well. We all played a game called the box. There are people making a square and people biking inside trying not to run over anybody's feet. The box got smaller and smaller and harder for the bikers. We played the turtle race and you make a line from start to finish and you pedal as slow as you can go and the slowest one to the finish is the winner.
